Nicknamed the Grateful Dead Scholars Caucus, the Grateful Dead area of the Southwest Popular\/American Culture Association<\/a> has met annually since 1998.<\/p>\n

From 2008\u20132020, the area produced its own conference program, supplementing the larger conference program with additional information on the area’s meeting and often additional features as well. Many of those are available for free download, below. The group also sponsored its own series of posters, many created by well-known artists in the Grateful Dead world.<\/p>\n
