Before submitting, please make sure your abstract includes the following:
Word length: 250 – 500 words.
Citation style: Chicago author-date format; include full references at the end.
Discipline/field: Please indicate the discipline and field(s) of your proposed abstract. Use multiple labels as needed.
Bio: Please include a brief academic bio for yourself at the end of your abstract (50-75 words).
Your abstract will be judged by these criteria:
Is the abstract well written? Is the argument clearly stated?
Is the topic original? Does it present new information? Does it demonstrate familiarity with the discourse and mark an original intervention?
Does it address an interdisciplinary audience?
Does the paper demonstrate a thorough grounding in its discipline as well as Dead studies?
