Scholars from all disciplines are invited to submit proposals for papers, panels, and special sessions for the sixth annual Grateful Dead Studies Association meeting, to be held at the Southwest Popular/American Culture Association, February 17-20, 2027, in Albuquerque, NM.
Registration opens September 1 and closes October 31.

We are looking for papers and presentations on all aspects of the Grateful Dead’s music, cultural impact, and historical significance, and their associated contexts, including the counterculture, fan culture, the 1960s, popular music, art history, and more.
The Association is interdisciplinary and welcomes contributions representing all fields and theoretical perspectives.
