Published annually, The Proceedings of the Grateful Dead Studies Association is our official conference publication. Each volume documents a conference meeting, including the schedule, abstracts, and presenters, along with selected papers that provide a snapshot of the conference conversation.
Every volume of the Proceedings also has a section of Texts and Sources, publishing important primary works illuminating the Grateful Dead phenomenon along with scholarly commentary.
All regular members receive a print copy of the Proceedings as part of their membership. Print copies are also available for purchase.
In keeping with the Association’s commitment to open source publishing, we make the contents of each volume of the Proceedings available for free download as well.
